About me
My Name is Houcem Bellakoud, a native of Tunisia, embarked on a journey that would redefine his artistic vision. In 2013, driven by love, i found myself drawn to the Netherlands, where i unexpectedly fell in love again – this time, with the vibrant city of Rotterdam and its diverse inhabitants. Inspired by the city's multicultural tapestry, i embraced photography and visual art as means of expression.
My documentary work is a testament to my commitment to empowering cultures and creating inclusive spaces. Through projects like 'Unity in Diversity', i seek to shed light on issues of identity, diversity, and social justice, acknowledging their growing importance in visual representation.
Houcem's passion for photography lies in his desire to capture the essence of diverse communities and tell their stories.
For me, photography transcends mere profession; it's a calling to amplify the voices of those often unheard and to challenge societal norms. Through my photgraphs i aim to empower communities, challenge stereotypes, and foster understanding across cultures.
Let’s celebrate each other.
